AL College Counseling is led by Aimee Letsch, a college counselor with over 25 years of experience as a high school counselor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Pupil Personnel Services, and has guided hundreds of students through the college admissions journey.
Aimee takes a thoughtful, personalized approach—helping students find colleges where they feel confident, supported, and excited about what comes next. From college exploration to applications and essays, she works closely with students and families every step of the way.
Choosing a college counselor is an important decision, and parents want to know their child is in experienced, caring hands. With more than two decades working with high school students, Aimee understands both the academic and emotional sides of the college admissions process.
Aimee has a calm, organized, and student-centered approach. She takes the time to truly get to know each student, helping them identify colleges that are a strong fit—not just academically, but socially and personally as well. Her experience allows her to anticipate challenges, keep students on track, and reduce stress for families along the way. She values clear communication, honest guidance, and collaboration with families, while always encouraging students to take ownership of their journey.
Trust and confidentiality are at the heart of Aimee’s work. Student information is never shared without explicit permission. Her goal is to simplify a complex process, reduce stress for students and families, and help each student move forward with confidence and clarity.
